Neon Ion - Heart Echoes released!

I'm super proud of my friend Natalie who released her first record under the name Neon Ion today. With so much music easily accessible as we have today it's easy to forget how much work is behind finishing a real album. In this case it took 2 years, trips to LA and Italy but it's finally out and has gotten GREAT reviews in the national papers.

I'm deeply impressed by producer Erlend Mokkelbost and coproducer Ivan Blomquist and very grateful that I got to contribute in the writing process of Highways and Illusions which both made the cut on the record.

I remember those autumn days in a studio on the western coast of Norway very well.
Aretha Franklin had just passed away and Eirik Havnes the guitar-player was doing his thing in the tracking both while we stood in the control-room yelling "play for Aretha MF!!!!" and boooy he did. I shed a tear every time I hear that intro.

With all the love everyone put into this project this record couldn't turn out as anything but simply amazing!
